Black topped with a thin tan head that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is dried fruit rinds, cherry brandy evident, dark malts, light roast, spice, molasses.
Taste comprises dark malts, cherry stones, marzipan, mellow roast, dark chocolate shavings.
Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced rising boost and plenty of cherry brandy barrel offered.
Solid sipper.

Can from Stacks.
A: hazy yellow, small, frothy, off-white head.
A: pineapple, white onion, ripe lime, hashish, citrus zest.
T: sweetish pineapple, bitter grapefruit, onion, pine.
F: piney hops, dank hashish, onion & citrus pith.
P: medium body, slick-watery texture, soft carbonation.
Good but FrauGruber has done better.

0,44 l can out of the fridge from n & m Genuss, Vechta. BB 04/26. Cloudy yellow golden with a small one finger white head. Sweet citrus fruity aroma with some caramel. Taste starts with a dry citrus fruity bitterness. Grape and some yeast. Thins out in the second part. Helles? Okay, but not reinventing the wheel.

Hazy light orange with a frothy, white head. Fruit candy and peaches. Taste is faint, citric bitter with peachy, oatmeal-sweet undertones. Body to the full side of medium, mild carbonation. Faint lingering mineral bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. A very subtle bruiser. Good.

From Strumpf Getränkmarkt, Ingelheim. Best before 10/23, opening this can yesterday, at the balcony, sunny and wet and this pale rather than a German helles was find, dry malt and mineral, so citrus, so bitter, so floral, so aromatic, so refreshing, 09.06.24
