Description
In the winter of 2016, the two Augsburgers, Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, founded FrauGruber Brewing (FRAUenschuh + GRUBER = FrauGruber) and brewed their first beers as Gipsy brewers in spring 2017 in the Old Factory in Gundelfingen. It quickly became clear that all the ideas, experiments and further developments would be very difficult to implement without an own brewery and the freedom that goes with it. In order to grow quantitatively and conceptually, FrauGruber had to grow. We managed to realize our dream of having our own brewery in January 2020. So we came to our goal of creating a kind of "way of life" and building a community with which we can share the enthusiasm and passion for beer. Our aim is to test and live the incredible variety of beer, to act sustainably and especially to give beer a higher value.

Taste is sweetish, juicy fruity and hoppy with some tropical notes, citrus, pine and mango. Finish is sweet, juicy and tropical fruity with some citrus, pine and mango. Heavy and sweetish, but surprisingly tasty NEIPA.

330 ml can, bb 27/05/18, from Biervana, Munich.
Orange, juicy body, with a small, frothy, yellowish head.
Aroma of orange juice, apricot, dankness, grass, some tropical fruits, oats, slight alcohol.
Tastes pretty similar, with some hop burn.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, a bit dry, a bit sweet, warm, juicy, grassy, dank, zesty, oaty, slightly piney.

Very nice. Typical style example, very juicy, with a grassy dankness and an oaty body. Quite heavy, alcohol is noticeable towards the finish. Not an outstanding NE style IPA and not among my favourite Frau Gruber beers, but still another really nice one.

Can from SinH4 @ benzai, shared by me. Very hazy yellow to orange colour with a creamy, medium sized white head. Smells very hoppy, very fruity, sweet, maybe even some lactose, tropical fruits.. Great. Tastes hops, bitter, fruity, sweet, smooth. Very easy to drink. Medium body, soft carbo. If it was hot outside and I had 6 of these I would probably be drunk after an hour.

330 ml can, bb 04/06/18, from Biervana, Munich.
Orange, very hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of lychee, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, apricot, orange, vanilla, biscuit.
Tastes quite similar, with a broad malt body.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, a bit sweet, juicy, with some pine, tropical fruits, some biscuit.

Very nice. Lots of lovely, juicy fruits. A bit heavy though, a broad malt body on the one hand and also slightly harsh hops for a hazy IPA. Still another very good, quaffable DIPA by this brewery.
