Description
In the winter of 2016, the two Augsburgers, Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, founded FrauGruber Brewing (FRAUenschuh + GRUBER = FrauGruber) and brewed their first beers as Gipsy brewers in spring 2017 in the Old Factory in Gundelfingen. It quickly became clear that all the ideas, experiments and further developments would be very difficult to implement without an own brewery and the freedom that goes with it. In order to grow quantitatively and conceptually, FrauGruber had to grow. We managed to realize our dream of having our own brewery in January 2020. So we came to our goal of creating a kind of "way of life" and building a community with which we can share the enthusiasm and passion for beer. Our aim is to test and live the incredible variety of beer, to act sustainably and especially to give beer a higher value.

330ml can. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with almost perfect, average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy, grassy-spicy, slightly floral, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, fresh hay, hints of lime, lime zest, a touch of lemongrass and viola, minimally waxy overtones, slightly biscuity, husky, malty basis, a touch of protein. Taste is citrusy and grassy hoppy with a slightly floral touch, notes of lemon, fresh hay, grass, a touch of lemongrass and lime, husky and minimally biscuity malty basis with a touch of protein, lemon biscuit; minimally watery but neglectable leaks in the malt basis. Excellent Grünhopfenpils-IPL-Zwickl-hybrid.

Can. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is fruit cocktail (with lots of canned peaches, mango and a touch of pineapple), dank, resinous, yeasts. Taste is dank, fruit cocktail again (with the same fruit characteristics), sweet caramel malt body, very resinous. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Very sweet, but good enough - I suppose the name Nectar is accurate.Tap, 2018 version. Milkier, fresher, less resinous, not quite as sweet, but still a bit mealy.
