Pours gold with a small, quickly fading white head.Nose shows sweet bready malt, honey, caramel and vegetal notes.Flavours are similarly malt, but with more of a bready/grainy character. Somewhat cloying. Also some solvent-like alcohol shows. Not good.Carbonation is too high.

bottle from Wine of Dreams Warszawa. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty, slightly hoppy, bitter-sweet and almost Boehmian character.

Pours dark copper with ruby highlights and a small fading head.Nose shows cherries (or rather cherry lollies) and the now familiar magnus base: chocolate, nutty and toasty malt. The cherry is pretty overwhelming and has a cough syrup character to it.Similarly sweet flavours with more overwhelming cherry and marzipan notes. Very artificial tasting. Finishes with a whack of herbal astringency. Not much of the malt shows through.Could use more carbonation.

No, thank you! I just drank a chocolate drink with a dark beer. My wife was thrilled, I was less clear. Not my taste!

Pours gold... like honey. Very small head.Nose shows honey, marzipan and some dirty malt. Pretty interesting, that marzipan character is crazy.Lots of honey as a flavour, along with soft marzipan and cough syrup. Very sweet. Too much so.Body feels a little watery, higher carbonation is really need as well.

Wow, the combination is unique! A (good) dark beer with prunes! Color: Cherry-brown, very pretty. Foam: How well does not know how available. Only after the casting of the top result is a bit of foam that disappears quickly. Plum flavor, but somehow weak. Significantly, the malt is perceived. For fans of plums or prunes I recommend the beer mix, for me ... there are other flavors of Jagiello Magnus.

Bottle. Clear gold with a modest white head that doesn’t last. Aroma of earthy, leathery honey, grass, toast. Taste is sweet and very honeyed, with some biscuity malt and some drying hops but no bitterness. A little syrupy with light carbonation. Mostly about the honey, but it’s good honey and the beer is nicely balanced. For these guys it’s not even that sweet.

Pours dark brown with a very small head.Chocolate is right at the forefront in the aroma, like chocolate syrup, very sweet. Underneath is a little caramel. Smells quite promising. Reminds me of choc chip cookies.More chocolate as a flavour but unfortunately the syrupy, sugary sweetness simply tramples over everything else.Incredibly low carbonation, really should be a lot hight to help cut the sweetness.

Pours dark brown with a small head.Nose shows roasted and nutty malt with soft spicy hops underneath. Not much going on.Incredibly sweet flavours. As in sugary sweet. Some roasted character shows through with hints of coffee. Toooo sweet.Carbonation could be higher really. Although even then there’s no chance of through the sweetness...

Bottle. Clear mahogany with a beige head that fades directly to a coat and is soon gone. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, some carbonation. Taste is very sweet with chocolate and spicy hop bitterness. Some hints of sourness and Sherry are there too - there’s more to the taste than what’s suggested in the nose. Less sweet finish is somewhat powdery. A bit too sweet for me and a little heavy-handed with the chocolate, but not bad.
