Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel and pine aromas. Thick with pine and resin upfront turning to sourdough in the hot caramel finish.

My bottle says nothing about salt city, that I can find. Its just a bottle with a few knives on the label but it says IPA. I got this from wegmans in chitauqua. And ipa it is, bg and bitter an way over the top like so many IPA. Pale and foaming. Such a rude on style IPA fer sher, so many IPA and this is just another example of the typical style. Yes, IPA has become more popular than pale lager and its so blasted bitter, rude and lasting. Surprising its 7%, could be an imperial for all I know. Not very enjoyable form a a lager lovers point of view, heheh. So, I guess its pretty good from an IPA lover's refernce? '

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with foamy off-white head, orange peel aroma, medium carbonation, initially sweet taste with light piney flavor, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Nicely rounded, decent IPA.

From old tasting notes. Amber orange color. Big foamy beige head. Earthy toasted malt aroma. Rich malty flavor hints at spices and a dry sherry-like finish. Good flavor, but lacks depth and complexity.

From old tasting notes. Hazy amber orange color topped by a rocky beige head. Spicy malt nose. Crisp dry malt flavor balanced by a bitter hop finish. Lacks depth.
