Pint bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Oh my what a resolutely uncool label. Never judge a book by etc though, and this is definitely a winner in all the other departments. Poured a hazy shade of orange with a beige head that was on the small side. Big plump, resinous hop aroma and flavour with healthy amounts of caramel malt and juicy fruit in there for good measure. Pretty straightforward stuff, but hot damn it works. Abv is nicely masked. A pleasure to drink.

Bottle at home from my GBBF 09 Haul ... light hazy copper ... thin white lacing ... bright nice fruity pine hop ... little creamy nose ... bitter hop resin up front ... that creamy american malt ... quite a lot of pine and bitter grapefruit ... fairly decnt

I really enjoyed this brew. Poured a nice clear read with a medium head. Mild nose of sweet malts. Flavor rife with malts and only hints of hops. Notes of caramel and maple syrup. Very smooth and pleasant. Nice medium-bodied beer.

Deece. Poured an opaque amber with a light, white head. Nose of yeast and barely any hops. Taste is interesting. Mildly sour, the beer has notes of maple syrup and lemon. Light on the hops. Crisp finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark orange to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is pinewood hoppy with a solid roasted malt note. Sweet fruity, light spiced and phenolic. Dry wooden hoppy flavoured with a nice caramel malt base. Dry and phenolic finish with a slowly appearing bitterness coming through.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel and bread, as well as medium notes of bread. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Hazy dark amber to brown color; small head. It has some caramel aroma and caramel flavor, the mouthfeel is quite weak and dry; it has correct bitterness. Simple and boring.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body, sweet caramel and a little nuts. Discreet bitterness. An easy drink. 220909
