Draught at the brewpub. Darker amber coloured, small pale beige head, light roasty and buttery nose. Mild roasty malty, caramel and light herbal notes with dry sweetish finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, grassy nose. Moderate malty, grassy and light fruity with mild bitter finish. Very refreshing but in general pretty ordinary beer.

Süffiger Antrunk mit leichten Hefe-, später auch bedingt herben Noten. Das Malz tendiert in eine helle Richtung, weist aber auch dunkelmalzige Elemente auf, die sich zum Ende mehren. So wird das Bier mit der Zeit etwas kräftiger und weist bedingt karamellige Noten auf. Leicht kräuterartig. All diese Aromen sind nicht sehr kräftig, harmonisieren aber gut. Netter Maibock, wenn man sich auf die feinen Aromen einlässt. 9/11/10/10//10

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy to hayish. Mild citrusy hoppy flavoured, slight grassy too. Bubblegum from the yeast. Bitter and slight citrusy into the finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep hazzlenut brown to orange with a small off-white to tan head. Aroma is light butterish and toffee caramel. Sweet to sugarish malt. Distinct caramel. Slight sticky. Ends sweet and with a faint hops note. Way too sweet.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy deep brown with a slight orange glare. Collapsing tan head. Aroma is dark roasted and liqourice. Sweet liqourice and dark breadish malty. Slight spiced. Bitter and dark yet sweet roasted malt finish.

Draught @ Brauerei an der Thomaskirche, Thomaskirchhof 3-5, 04109 Leipzig, Sachsen, Germany.Unclear sparkling light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, grain, straw, light acrid malt bitter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090702]
