Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and lighter notes of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and lighter notes of sulphur, leading to a dry finish where notes of straw and sulphur lingers.

Gravity Cask at the White Horse at Hedgerley, England on 31/08/09 during their summer festival. Gold with thin white head. Citric hop rounded by malty notes. Hoppy, grassy kick. Smooth mouthfeel, finish dwells on astringency.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Chestnut colour, lasting thin beige head. Doesn’t smell all brewed out. Not fully atenuated. Bit too sweet, and an odd flavour on the malts.

Cask at FFTMC, Oxford, 28-03-09 Pours mid gold with a white head. Quite dry and with some bitterness, some ’burton snatch’ (noted by Loz very swiftly) easy drinking, some fruitiness but a touch thin and not the most engaging beer at times. A6 A4 F6 P3 OV12
