Today, our beers are available on draught and in six packs, four packs, and bombers across the state. And Mike and Amanda have been joined by a cast of characters that make magic happen at Bristol every day. Collectively, we are a family of smart, friendly people who really love beer. We love the glorious flavor. We love the global tradition and history. We love the art and science of brewing. And the pure contentment of enjoying a pint at the end of the day.
In 2013, we moved lock, stock, and barrel into a former elementary school, where we happily ignore school rules by brewing and serving beer in the classrooms, including our onsite pub. Built in 1916, the building’s hardwood floors and brick walls, former gym and student artwork radiate charm and a hip but super-friendly vibe.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a touch hazy, copper, burnt orange appearance with a light brown head. Pretty tame, light caramel, herbal, straw, a touch spicy, but boring aroma. Somewhat spicy, grassy hoppy, toasty malty, kind of watery, uninspired flavor. Not offensive and not overly hard to drink, but there’s just not a ton going on.

Bottle @ home. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a fluffy, cream colored head and nice lacing. Quite woody, herbal, a touch piney hoppy, chewy, light citrusy aroma. I’m not overly impressed with this earthy/woody/herbal hoppy aroma, so it’s hard to place this at at 6 or 7 for aroma. Chewy, tangy, toasty malty, earthy/herbal/woody hoppy, mild grapefruit flavor. Certainly not hard to drink but not very exciting or impressive either.

Toasty, slightly caramelized, mild rye malty, herbal/soapy/floral hoppy flavor with mild citrus and pine notes. Somewhat spicy, floral finish. A touch chewy. Not bad but nothing special.
