Description
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we are committed to two great challenges: satisfying our thirst for a well-crafted brew, and fulfilling the need to contribute to a strong, vibrant community. Dunedin Brewery is founded on values that make these goals a reality; like yourself, we value the integrity to stand for a cause, the stability gained from working hard, and the experience of connecting with good people—our dedicated staff of beer enthusiasts or our loyal guests. There are plenty of things to do in Florida—even plenty of things to do in Tampa Bay—but we strive to be more than just a place and more than just a beer; we strive to meet the challenge of creating an amazing city and an amazing craft brew. Sláinte!

Bottle. Quite fruity aroma, red berries. Hazy red colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is also quite fruity. Has a lot of berries, quite dry, though. Turns a little citric in the finish. Quite high carbonation.

Poured on tap at the brewery a hazy dull gold to copper with 60 second bright white head. It was served very cold as usual here. Even being near frozen it emitted a decent enough aroma with a load of apricot and maybe a dash of wheat. The taste is full up front apricot that bleeds into mild notes of cherry and wheat. By midway and to the finish apricot fruit tang mixing with floral hops join in and usher the flavor to the finish. Fruit beers like this aren’t my bag. It seems well made.

On cask at Stougies and Stouts at the Dunedin brewery. Pours very very dark brown with infra red edges and thin mocha head. The aroma seems a bit like grape juice, grainy malts, earthiness, notes of tangelo citrus, a bit of molasses and roast to go along with hints of office chair and wall partitions. The taste starts off with astringent dry roasty malts moving to hints of tangelo and orange peel. It gets roastier, maltier and more earthy into midway and dries out into the finish with lingering roasted malts. All of the dry hopping has made this a bit tougher to figure out and describe. It is interesting.

Tap at Stogies & stouts pours pours ruby brown with tan head. Aroma of watery coffee, kind that has been sitting in the open for a while. Really did not capture the aroma of freshly grinded coffee. Taste, light bitter coffee palate with malts. Got overall feel that this was coffee malt extract.

Tap at Stogies & stouts under name Time Bomb stout. pours brownish with tan head. Taste had ample malts with chocolate and spices. There was some sweetness that reminded me a lot of orange peel with fruity hops in the finish. Interesting mouthfeel.

Near black. Smells like...well... a nitro stout. Tart, black malt notes on the palate. Kind of thin underneath of that. A little bit peanutty. Meh.

Bright chestnut. Strong coffee nose with little else. Motel coffee with chocolate syrup added. But you know, it’s better than that sounds. It’s a bit thin, though, and more malt sugars and body would bring out the coffee better.

Bright darkish amber. Herbal, woody hop nose with some slight crystal malt accent. Sweet. Nice crystal malt flavour but not overwhelmingly chewy. Hints of wood and light papaya late.
