Description
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we are committed to two great challenges: satisfying our thirst for a well-crafted brew, and fulfilling the need to contribute to a strong, vibrant community. Dunedin Brewery is founded on values that make these goals a reality; like yourself, we value the integrity to stand for a cause, the stability gained from working hard, and the experience of connecting with good people—our dedicated staff of beer enthusiasts or our loyal guests. There are plenty of things to do in Florida—even plenty of things to do in Tampa Bay—but we strive to be more than just a place and more than just a beer; we strive to meet the challenge of creating an amazing city and an amazing craft brew. Sláinte!

Hazy blond. Candyish, bubblegummy aroma. Very candyish, grainy taste with light spiciness. Sticky sweet. Tough to drink.

Hazy dull red-amber. Extract aroma with grainy toasty note. Some tobaccoey notes, raw grain. Thin. This really doesn’t come together.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy light amber. Big apricot extract nose. Sweet, candyish taste like canned apricots. A little bit of refreshing wheatiness in the finish. It’s OK.

Draught, Redlight Redlight
Reddish-amber and cloudy. Sweet cherry, light spic and some nice malts. Smooth, spicy with lots of malt. Well-balanced and rich. It gets a little thin at the end but overall I like the sense of balance this brew has.

Bright copper/ruby coloured body with a super-thin white head. Aroma of light hops (pretty good at ~3 years old), fresh wheat and some citrus and coriander seed. Light-bodied; Sharp tastes of malt and light hops. Tastes of citrus and lemon also noticeable. Aftertaste very clean - some hops, some citrus and little else. Overall, pretty good for being almost 3 years old - still showing hops and citrus qualities. A nice APA for being old - definitely good to try. Many thanks to MattA for this trade way back when! I sampled this 16 ounce bottle given to me in a trade with MattA on 28-May-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Wow, pricey light weight house brew coming in at 5 bones per pint. As usual they serve their brews up too damn cold. This rating is being made without the sugar and cinnamon coated orange wedge pushed onto the rim of the glass. I was instantly curious to find out what sort of flavor flaws they are covering up with the adjunct laden orange wedge. Pours somewhat hazy rusty brown with off white head. The aroma is moderate and is heavy on the cinnamon. Behind the cinnamon are notes of winter spice and a bit of cherry hard candy. This is a really fresh brew and that comes across with bright punctuated flavors notes. I get crystal malts that transition over to roasted malts, nuttiness then highly roasted malts and a touch of coffee. By midway cinnamon and winter spices surface. As the finish approaches notes of brown sugar and some earthy to spicy hops well up amid a touch of pine. Pretty tasty stuff with plenty of flavor.
