Description
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we are committed to two great challenges: satisfying our thirst for a well-crafted brew, and fulfilling the need to contribute to a strong, vibrant community. Dunedin Brewery is founded on values that make these goals a reality; like yourself, we value the integrity to stand for a cause, the stability gained from working hard, and the experience of connecting with good people—our dedicated staff of beer enthusiasts or our loyal guests. There are plenty of things to do in Florida—even plenty of things to do in Tampa Bay—but we strive to be more than just a place and more than just a beer; we strive to meet the challenge of creating an amazing city and an amazing craft brew. Sláinte!

Hazy golden ale with a thick overflowing big bubbled off white head. Light herbal aroma, difficult to catch through the humongous foam. In mouth, crisp malt, lightly nutty, with decent hops. Very decent shape for 1 yr old beer.

Dark hazy brown with a thin collapsable moka head. Light carmale aroma, slightly off. In mouth, same problem as others, a rather sour beer with light peaty notes, this one hast passed the test of time.

Dark golden ale with an extra big resilient off white head. Aroma was herbal, grassy hops with light malt. In mouth, grassy malt with peppery hops, and a decent body. Not too bad considering I forgot this one for one year. Thanks Degarth.

Bottle Pours a hazy dingy peach color with only a thin off white head. Spotty lacing. Aromas of light grains, apple cider, slightkly yeasty and verry little hops. Flavor is more bitter , a bit cardboardish and slightly fruity. Fairly strong bitter after taste but not much flavor to go with it. Moderate palette, and lively carbonation.

Bottle Pours a nearly black witha thin fine dark tan head. Persistant sheeting lacing. Some dark roasted aroma and coffee. Flavor is coffee and some sour acidic flavors aw well. Lingering woody bitter flavor. Quite thin and generally unimpressive. Thanks to Degarth for this one.

What a curious beer. The spice is quite apparent in the flavor, if not the nose. Ginger and nutmeg are obvious. There’s an overall tart character that goes with a rounded sourdough quality, that is most apparent in the aroma. Cloudy, amber, with a stiff, rising head that gave the bishop’s finger out of the bottle (I feared bacteria upon opening, but I don’t think that was the cause)

Pours with almost a pinkish-purple hue. Small head. Aroma of raspberries in the nose. Flavor is slightly wheaty raspberry. Better than some of the other fruit-added beers I’ve had, but it’s not exceptional.

The overall impression of this brew is that it’s too malty. Sure, there are hops present, but they’re overcome and covered up by malts upon malts.

Pretty peach colored beer with a small head. HUGE aromas of apricot and peach... very fruity, very real, very nice. Flavor leaves something to be desired for. It’s slightly apricotty/peachy, but it has a weird funkiness to it as well. Wish is tasted like the aroma.

Thanks to Matta for this brew! I have a dilemma with this rate. The sample I got, I actually rated 7/4/5/2/10. But as many fine beers as I have had from this brewery and the 5 ratings already posted, convince me I had a bad bottle. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Had it had a decent number of ratngs, I wouldn’t have pulled my punches. This looked good at the pour, even the aroma was good, but it had a sourness in the flavor that wasn’t good and it went from start to finish. I’ll attempt to try this again sometime, I’m sure it will be worth seeking out. The first bad one I’ve had from them.
