Draft at Upstream. Thick burgundy brown. Pretty well done, true to style. Brown malt, caramel, brown sugar notes. Sweet and malt centered all the way. No real hop character besides some faint soapiness. OK.

Draft at Upstream. Filtered orange-brown. Steady, thin head. Nice dry grapefruit aroma. Pretty solid, soapy hops. Toasty, full of flavor, but sort of has the body and a Pale Ale. Decent.

Draft at Upstream. Filtered orange-brown. Watery, thin, sort of your 1990 homebrew. Doughy, some amber malt pungency. Overall just a little too insipid to hold my interests.

Draft at Upstream. Standard middle of the road APA, clean and drinkable. Soapy orange hops. Toasty malt body. Filtered, sort of a lightweight West Coast version.

Cask at Upstream. My first Black IPA on cask. Red-brown black, steady lasting beige head. Slightly watery, attributed to the cask conditioning I suppose. Still retains a solid hoppiness and chocolate flavors. Very drinkable, the cask gives it a really nice mouthfeel that grows on you. Quite nice.

Draft at Upstream. Orange-brown, slightly hazy. Zesty peach undertones. Clovy peppery yeast tones. Pretty solid and balanced, the peach comes off pretty natural.

Draft at Upstream as Flaussaufwarts Hefeweizen. Hazy unfiltered orange-yellow. Clovy banana taste, another really clean beer from Upstream. Mellow, quite easy.

Draft at Upstream. Filtered tanned yellow. Thin, creamy white head. Watery, doughy mouthfeel. Not much hop or malt character. Soft and pleasant, some mild yeasty notes and noble hop tones. Well done, but a little light and one dimensional.

Draft at Upstream. Filtered, hyper translucent, crystal clear. Session beer all the way, reminiscent of BMC, but much smoother, cleaner.
