My last taster, 50ml, on the first day of The Copenhagen Beer Festival 09. Not completely black in body appearance, some ruby tints. Tan, creamy head that vanished after a short while. Dry and roasted smell of sweet malts. Blend of pale and dark malts in flavour followed by hints of bitter fruits. A bit thin in the mouth for a stout, but fair enough before bedtime (15.05.2009).

50ml sampled from a bottle. Dark golden body under a filmy layer. Fresh aroma of grass and flowers. The flavour is mild with notes of hoppy fruits and mid-sweet malts. Low level on the bitter ending. Clean tasting and just alright at the end of a long drinking day at the Copenhagen festival (Valby, 15.05.2009).

Stepping down a bit, late in the evening on the first day of the 9th Copenhagen Beer Festival. Sample served from a bottle. Deep amber-golden body under a rapid fading white head. Malt-fruity aroma followed with a taste than is more prominent in the display of sweet malts. Modest ending with bitter hops. On the average level (15.05.2009)

Bottle at KØ09. Mild lagery aroma. Cloudy golden colour, no head. The flavour is OK malty, slightly bready, but not old-tasting. Medium bitterness. Hint of grain in the finish but also a mild spiciness.

Bottled. A deep red-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, both sweet and roasted, and so is the flavor. The body is thin. Thanks yespr for sharing.
