Tap at 1020. Nice cloudy golden color. Lacy. Nose of lemon, coriander, and diacetyl. Sweet and going in the right direction, but ruined by the buttery flavors. Needs more time in the lagering tank.

Draft - Sweet banana and a bit of lime, typical Weisse. Cloudy yellow with a thick head. Rich fruit, banana esters, honey and a thick syrupy palate, No βbockβ, just a weizen, maybe served the wrong beer.

Tap at 1020. Amber-brown color. Nose smoky nose--not huge smoke, but subtle and solid. Sweet, fruity flavor with decent smoking. Again not huge, and it comes off as a bit too sweet, and too fruity for a rauch, but not bad at all.

50 cl bottle, bought @ Gotemba railway station. Clear, amber to brown color. Small beige head. Aromaβs: vegetables, bready malts, roasted grain, with some caramel and red fruit retronasal. Flavor is lightly sweet. Light bodied. Grain & malt in the finish. Pretty authentic, but not too exciting.

Draught at 1020. Deep reddish-brown, glowing nicely. Candy-like nose, orange, peppery spices. Very fruity flavor, nicely hopped, really interesting and peppery. Very bitter, with some resins too. Very nicely done, better than I expected and might be great in about 6 months.

Draught at 1020. Said to be made for the first time in 7 years. Black and shiny, with a low, fine, tan head. Nice smoky noseβbacon! Much lighter smoke in the flavor, not much chocolate or caramel for such a black beer, though these came out a bit when it warmed. Big smoke flavor, though. Very clean, nicely smoky. A very good rauch. Well done.

Draught at the Keyaki Hiroba Autumn Festival 2012. Worty, malty nose, grains, caramel. Pretty amber color with a fine, thick head. Sweet caramel malt flavor, with honey and molasses. Very sweet, nicely grainy, lots of cereals. Rather one-dimensional but quite a malt showcase.

Draught at the Keyaki Hiroba Autumn Festival 2012. Bright golden color, cloudy, with a fine head. Looks lovely. Spicy hop nose, citrus, light bready malt, lemon, sweet orange, biscuit. Rather sweet flavor, nice hops, big bitterness. Full and smooth. Their best so far I think.
