Description
Rustic family owned and operated restaurant featuring farm to table menu, gluten free and vegetarian selections, sustainable business practices including solar and biomass, 20 handcrafted award winning brews.
Current owner, Tom Mills, has owned and operated The Flying Goose since its start in 1993. In 1996, he gave what was known originally as The Four Corners Grille a unique identity by creating a micro-brewery. Mills put many years into rebuilding what is now The Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille, a casual, family friendly restaurant and brewery now managed by his three kids Brett, Jordan, and Brianna. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment to all those who walk through our doors. Whether it be for a quick bite, a cold brew, or a place for family and friends to gather, we extend our “home” to you.
Over the years we have learned what is most important to us and the values we practice as a small business. We focus on sourcing locally as much as possible and are thankful for the wonderful relationships created with local purveyors. We became NH’s 1st solar powered brewery in 2011 and continue to find ways to use clean energy as a sustainable business.
The memories, laughs and relationships created here are what we live for! We have been fortunate to work with and serve many incredible people through the years. We are grateful for our amazing “Goose Family” and are thankful for the opportunity to serve you.

Burnt orange Simcoe and warrior on the nose. A hint of citra. Nice grapefruit and tangerine. There’s a lot of pine cone and resin. Some maltiness which is a surprise for the abv.
Earlier Rating: 7/1/2012 Total Score: 3.5
Hazey light brown. 1 finger head subsides fast. More of citra. Love that the brewer uses a lot of citra. Excellent tropical and grapefruit scent but it's a little too light. Nice! The taste is rocking. Very smooth. Hunt of sweetness. Decent malt backbone. 70% carbonation on mouth swish.

Clear almost white. Yellow haze Hint of lemons. Smells like PBR. Nice spicy finish. Lemon and melons. Basic overall but a pretty drinkable adjunct beer...but far less enjoyable than the previous rookie.

Draft @ brew pub. Semi clear brown color. Caramel aroma. Medium body. Flavor is caramelized malt notes provide a supporting sweetness. A slight hint of hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Maybe I had too many standout beers this weekend because this really seemed bland and lacking. Barrel notes really would have helped this brew. I didn’t get any BA notes anywhere. On a return trip to this pub I really would not order this again. Just unexciting.

Draft @ the pub. Dark amber color with thin white head. Nose is only maple. Taste is mildly nutty with a hint of caramel and maple sugar. Medium bodied, slightly creamy, soft carbonation fills the mouth. Texture is similar to syrup or maybe I had maple on the brain. It’s a standard maple based brew. Ok flavor.

Draft @ the pub. Nose is light traces of Brett and sugar. Taste is funky yeast with sugar and some light toasted grain. Medium-bodied. Carbonation is good but on the lighter style. I didn’t pick up any oak or Pinot Noir Barrel notes. Overall it’s easy to drink, also has nice Belgian funky notes. Pretty nice drinker.
