Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, lemon, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, hops, some nectar as well as mild apricot. Flavour is hops, grass, some acidic and sour wood as well as mild hayishness. Aftertaste is wood, grass and hay.

Cask at the New Barrack Tavern, Sheffield, South Yorks, 16-08-08 Pours light gold smooth easy drinking beer with some honey sweetness. This is a tasty session beer, ok it lacks a little in aroma but I didn’t mind it at all.

Clear amber with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with hoppy notes. Sweet flavor wit fruity, citric, caramel and hoppy notes. Ends bitter.

Cask (GBBF 2008) - Golden/amber in colour. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit. Nice and hoppy taste. Pleasant bitterness with some grapefruit hints and a bit of lemon. Another impressive low strength beer.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Gold, thin beige head. Some grassy hop, bit of citrus, some toffee/butter too. Bit of diacetyl maybe. Hops on end are good, but the rest is only so-so.

Cask gravity at Red Lion, Snargate, summer bf 08. Copper colour, I expected it to be lemony from the title, but it isn’t. More of a best bitter. A good best bitter, some lemony hop. Fine best bitter.

[on cask at Nag’s Head, Reading] Deep gold with a slight, dissipating white head. Big wafts of fresh bread in the aroma and first taste promised much, but it strangely turned into a very average golden ale with weak, watery, lemon and grass flavours. Inoffensive but instantly forgettable.
