10/11 A 0.33l bottle brought from Bilbao by Marko’s friend, so thanks goes to both of them! It poured almost clear dark brownish body with medium sized ivory head. Nice roasted malt aroma, full of cocoa, coffee, cappuccino etc. Flavor was, of course, dominated by roasted malt with chicory being most prominent component now, yet creamy caramel and yoghurt notes rounded it up nicely. Medium bodied brew with somehow, besides coffee, spicy earthy finish which added to its curiosity. Very good, another little Basque gem!

Botella de 33 cl en el lúpulo en 29-05-2014 en el momento (f. Consumo pref. 11-2014).

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and heavy. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, pleasant bitterish chicory coffee nose. Roasted malt, pretty strong but pleasant chicory and mild chocolate taste with hint of coffee in the finish. Nice one.

Huge thanks to Ana D for bringing this from Spain! Shared with heavy and ogivlado. Very dark brown body with a medium sized off whtie head. Nice strong aroma, chicory, chocolate, coffee. Mostly chicory in the taste, dry, lovely, mild sweetness, lasting roasty aftertaste. A very, VERY respectable beer, it’s amazing what these new, unknown Spanish brewers can do.
