330 ml bottle bought at Bierkompass.de several months ago and then forgotten, so unfortunately past the bb date (11-14).
Black body, with a massive, stable, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of roast, some vegetables, some ash, dry cocoa, dark fruits.
Tastes of roasty coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, orange, dark fruits, some pine, some herbs.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, quite dry, qith coffee and dry cocoa powder.

Tasty. Not that much hops left, feels more like a Stout meanwhile. Really pleasant though, with lots of strong, dark malts. Although 5 months past the best before date, still a beer with a lot of character.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey & Rafaela’s place. Thanks Shmupi. Hazy amber with a beige head. Funky aroma with yeast, soapy, olives and some fruitiness. Slightly sourish flavor with a sweetish honey-ish note and some fruity hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. Infeceted, but could be worse.

Not sure about the Belgian Ale thing. Its full of American hops. Anyway, bottle at La Casita, Burgos. Clear golden coloured, with a white head. Nose is tropical fruits, light malty, grapefruits. Flavour is grapefruits, hint of Turkish delight. Fairly bitter. Nose hop bitterness, and juicy, fruity, and a dry finish. Didn’t get the Belgian element, which in this case is a good thing I guess. Another good beer by Sesma. Really one of the top brewers in Spain.

Draught @ Gallows Bird. Aroma has strong peach tones and fruit candy. Flavour has fruit candy, peaches, some funky yeasty tones and citrus. Also mellow grassy tones. Not the most typical saison.
