Botella 33 CL en el Scotland yard la Virgen del Camino. 28..08..2020. Color amarillento velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores frscos altosos y cereales con toques citricos. Cuerpo medio ligero con algo de gas. Normal.

44cl Blik van Moyee x Uiltje. Donkerbruine kleur, beige kraag. Aroma van wat harsige hop, koffie, dadels. Smaak is vrij zoet, niet des BIPA's, licht geroosterd, iets van koffie, hars, weinig uitgesproken bitterheid. NEBIPA?

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, a small dark tan head lasts about a 2 seconds. Pretty light palate for the style and the abv. A mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. Thin smooth dark malts, a whisper of dark chocolate. Dominant flavour here is a bitter and spicy coffee. Whisper of cherry if you are looking for it. The banana went through on stilts. Smooth but bitterish finish. Hmm, not what I was I was expecting nor what I wanted from this beer. Putting 'banana' on the front of the can is quite extraordinary.

Can. Deep dark brown color. Caramel, butter and licorice in the aroma. Roast, caramel, butter and salted licorice in the flavor. Hint of plums. Weird, but quite drinkable.

440ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, decently lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, citrusy fruity and chocolately dark malty aroma, notes of mandarine, orange, a touch of marmalade, hints of orange-infused dark chocolate, orange jelly bears; somehow all flavours seem to be cautiously lactose and vanilla supported. Taste is sweet, fruity hoppy and chcocolately dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, chocolate cookies with aspects of vanilla and coconut, hints of red berries, strawberry in particular, mandarine and orange as well, a touch of lactose sugar. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Not free from artificial aspects, in a way not hoppy enough for the IPA entitlement, simultaneously too sweet and mellow representing that Black IPA category - not a bad beer, well-understood; but too much a sweet and mellow, candy floss-like, flattering, fair attraction than a dispute between bitter rivals like roasted malt and bitter hops or seemingly irreconcilable adversaries like chocolate and citrus.
