11/9/2025. Cask at the 2025 Chappel Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Good pour. Aroma is malty, caramel, biscuit, fruity, berries. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Fruity bitter finish. Liked this. Traditional, in a good way.

Old rating from 2009 - Pint from the cask at Coeur de Lion, Bath. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, caramel, biscuit, grain & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear golden coloured brew with an fine fruity taste with hints of citrus, the water have the appearance of mineral water with an slightly carbonation.

Clear amber gold with a bubbly/frothy white head and light malt with a hint of spice/funk on the nose. A little spicy kick up front, light malt, soft fruit and some floral hops continue through to a dry, slightly bitter finish

Cask. Goldeny amber colour with a small head. Aroma is wood, some mild nuts, bready and floral notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some malty and mild nutty notes to it. Simplistic, but tasty.
