Draught at "Beefeaters Inn" Gothenburg, Sweden.Dark amber color. Thick beige creamy head. Fresh light hoppy scent. Low to medium bitterness. Very refreshing. Fruity aftertaste.

Draught at Murveln in Gothenburg, Sweden.Golden color, creamy thick brownish head. Faint scent of hops and malt. Nice bitterness and fruity taste.

Slightly aged sample Medium but dense, creamy off-white head; orange-foxy beer with a slight haze all the same. Bit of caramel or even toffee, yet not overly sweet nose. Some extra smell that reminds me both of honeysweets and... stinging nettles? Caramel, and a discreet hoppy bitterness that has a metallic, even galvanic tang to it. Bit smoked, but not as smoked malt nor ashes. Reasonably refreshing, bit gassy. Something vaguely (hazel)nutty in the aftertaste. The "Imperial" name is less than clear. Itโs a decent bottled ale, for sure. Thanks to podge, who yielded to my stubborness.

Nut brown, steady creamy beige head. Woody hoppy, a bit caramelly aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, even creamy, light bodied. Very watery, jsut faint oaky hops and then a bit of roasted caramel in the finish. More or less what you can expect from this kind of "draught" nitro beer.

(Can 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a small, dense head. Soft, slightly caramelish malty notes with only a faint hint of hops. A standard mass consumption Bitter. 270802

Orange amber coloured, with a dissipating off-white big bubbled head, but with good lacings. Aroma of light caramel malts, and grass. Good session ale with nice malts, woody in character, and a nice hops in finish, crisp and British. Medium bodied. Bought in Halifax, March 2005, non widget Original Bitter can.

Nice head smallsized like Kilkenney, light amber colour. Moderate finish. Light feeling. This can had LD juli 05, but it seemed OK.

Tetley bitter on tap at Beehive Liverpool. Basically this is brown water in a glass with the merest hint of hops. Eventually had to buy a bottle of Mannโs brown ale just to liven it up a bit

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a medium caramel color with a huge creamy off white head (as expected with a widget). The aroma is lightly sour with a faint flowery undertone. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy (as expected with a widget). The flavor is sour with light peppery and spicy hops. The finish is a tad dry.
