Keg half pint, as Tetley's Smooth Ale, at The White Horse, St. Helier. ABV is 3.6%. Deep golden to copper colour, creamy head, slightly off-white, nice lacing. Aroma of toffee, a hint of diacetyl. The flavour is malty with hints of toffee and caramel, but not really sweet. Fairly distinct diacetyl, but still nice enough to drink. Very moderate hops.

440ml can of Original from B&M Darlington. Amber colour, off-white foam head leaving some lacing and malty yeasty aroma. Taste is malt, toffee, yeasty with earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK.

Cask half-pint, hand-pulled in The Malthouse, Ironbridge Shropshire on 17th June 2018. Clear golden pour, white affair on top. Hops rule the roost in both the nose and taste, piney, woody notes mostly. Good, crisp bitterness over a light malty base.

440ml can into pint glass. As Tetley's Smooth Flow. Widgety gush leads to a still golden bronze beer with a two finger tightly packed creamy head. Excellent lacing. Smells of caramel lollies being eaten in the next room. Smooth texture, toffee malt taste. Short finish. Standard English lunchtime pub bitter.

Can. Nose is caramel, musty, fruit. Taste is caramel, berry, slight butterscotch. Smooth Mouthfeel. I?ve had worse. Edit: Smoothflow is a completely different beer, I am not sure why it's under the same listing. It's a muted version of the above with a wert cardboard finish. despicable.
