Can from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours bright copper with a creamy near-white head. Bready aroma, but the malt has a pleasing German malt aspect. Perhaps a touch of floral hop. Med body. Flavor is crisp and mildly roasty/bread. Hop is arguably Noble grass and spice. Not dry, but far from sticky. There's enough hop to balance the malt, and it's more bitter than many of the style (at least American versions). Quite tasty.

ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light grain - rice - bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, pale malt, fruity hops, minerals, light fresh apple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191019]

Can shared at columbus tasting 09/10/2019. Many Thanks! A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is some alcohol, pine, dull wheat, orange rind, . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, orange rind, vanilla, custard, semi sweet, dull, vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, soft, moderate carboantion, little resin hop. Pretty dull and lifeless overall.

1 pint can from MBC. Golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, frothy, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of grains, grass, herbs, bread, some hay, some flowers, slight citrus. Tastes quite similar, with some more spicy hops. Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes moderate sweet, grainy, bready, grassy, a bit herbal, a bit floral, moderate hoppy. Good. Nothing special, a quite typical Pale Lager, while still quaffable, with a quite satisfying, sweet body and rustic character. Score: 6 / 3 / 6 / 3 / 13

50cl can from Mikkeller beer Club. Straw color, thin white head. Some sweetness, some apple notes, rice water. Really light in flavor. On its own quite useless. Ok with food, had it with spicy chicken.
