Pours cloudy golden with a large white frothy head. Aroma: fine Belgian yeast, fruit, malt, candy. Full body. Average to lively carbonation. Taste: light to medium sweet, malty, fruity, leathery, spicy, a bit boozy. Light bitterness. Very classical.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Hazy dark brown-amber with a lasting, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of brioche, raisin, caramel, plum, milk chocolate, peanuts, green tea. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite some chocolate filled with dark fruits, plum, dried orange, vaguely estery, edge of peanuts, brioche & caramel. Bittersweet backbone of mocha, toffee & green tea, leading to a dryish, herbal hoppy finish, nicely lingering caramel & raisin & warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Pleasant encounter.

Tap at Craft Hands. Surprised to see this in Japan. Dark brown colour, small golden head. Aroma is quite weird, perfumey, dark fruit, booze. Taste is interesting, quite sweet and cakey, raisins, yeasty, something floral there, bit of tripel booziness, little touch of creamy chocolate too. Really tastes like a cake. Malty.

Bottle from 2010. Tastes lovely, lots of toffee, light sparkle, body is full but at the same time light and airy. Fruity, rich, plums, marzipan. Pretty damn nice. Doughy.

Pours clear dark amber ( light brown) medium white, stable head. Smell is caramel, toast, malty, belgian style esters ( medium mild banana). Taste is starting out rather sharp, bit thin. Toasty, caramelly, bit earthy. Thinner body than expected. Medium high carbo. OK.

My 700th. Beautiful creamy head. Cloudy. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus and honey. Very hoppy flavor. Herbal, pepper, citrus. Alcoholic. Strong champagne-like mousse. A big and complex beer well worth the high price ($ 8,- a bottle)

Pours a huge head that disappears slowly. Slightly hoppy, slowly aroma. Hoppy and flowery flavor, just a bit citric. Long very hoppy finish. I like the complex flavor much better as the aroma.

Aroma has rosebuds and malt. Sweetish, malty and a bit of sourness. Warming sensation of alcohol, red berries. Lots of alcohol and fruit, but the flavor is OK. Bitter aftertaste. Re-rate: rating stays the same, but I noticed pear and raisin. Maybe this bottle was younger, the taste was very sweet and sugary.

Big frothy head. Gold orange color, cloudy. Just a hint of citrus, some hops and some yeast both in aroma and flavor. Orange with just a bit of caramel. Dusty and an upcoming winey flavor.
