Vom Faß im Gorilla Brewing, Millak-dong, Busan. - Orangebraun. - Nase säuerlich-fruchtig und leicht grasig-herb. - Schlankes, weiches Weizenmalz und unerwartet saure Himbeeraromen. Leicht bananig, kaum süß. Schön leicht, prickelnd rezent. Leichte Herbe. - Angenehm säuerliches, gerade im Sommer enorm erfrischendes Bier ohne künstliche Fruchtaromen. Allerdings lassen schwach faulig-fiese Anklänge vermuten, daß hier keine echten Himbeeren, sondern die koreanische Variante Rubus coreanus (bokpunja) verwendet wurde. Dennoch sehr empfehlenswert. Straight from the tank, not even kegged yet! Ipa 6% A great looking copper color which is what I want out of an ipa with a more aromatic hop profile featuring tropical fruits - quite fragrant. Very smooth and drinkable - this went down like a dream.

The Gorilla Stout poured a deep black with a tan head. The aroma was chocolate fudge at first and then opened up to reveal roastiness and oaty notes. Very solid though for my personal tastes I’d enjoy more body. So far this is the crowd favorite among Koreans I hear.

On tap at the brewery. Session IPA 4.5% it’s a nice copper gold with a subdued nose that slowly opens up to become more aromatic. The taste is maltier than most Session IPAs making it more Britush style I guess and providing it with a fuller body. The taste is sweet and hoppy - good but needs more aromatic hops to make it pop.

On tap at their new taproom. Pale ale 5.5% Nice copper color with a classic piney hop bouquet. Medium-full bodied this is a pale ale aimed at those who enjoy a balanced hoppiness. Very easy to drink.
