Tap at 3rd Culture Brewing, Maxwell Food Court, Singapore. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, sweet honey, light floral. The favour is moderate liqourice bitter and sweet, with a roasty, sweet honey, light clove spice, light cinnamon palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A real quality beer with plenty going on. Hope this is a sign of more good things to come.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark burgundy with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of blueberry upfront, with a touch of hibiscus, and fermented out honey. Flavour is semi-sweet, with hibiscus and blueberry in good balanced, with rather subdued wildflower honey. For a session mead, this works pretty well.

On tap at Smith Street Taps, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of the masala spices in good harmony with the honey. Flavour manages to express a lot of the honey despite the low gravity of this, accentuated tastefully by the spices. As far as session meads go, this is one of the better ones out there. Good stuff.

Tap at BeerFest Asia XI Edition, Singapore. Poured a murky dark red colour with a round bubbly off white head. The aroma is moderate blueberry, light honey. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, slightly watery, light tart blueberry palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Somewhat light and watery. Too light for a Mead. Still better than the classic but needs more body and should be sweeter.

Tap at BeerFest Asia XI Edition, Singapore. Poured a murky opaque, light straw colour. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, sweet honey, Christmas spicy, cinnamon palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Much better than the classic. More body and more flavour.

Tap at BeerFest Asia XI Edition, Singapore. Poured a murky opaque colour with little life. The aroma is honey, some light spicy notes. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a slightly watery, honey, light floral palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Sadly I’m not really impressed. Very light and lacks body. It tasted like sugar water.
