Don’t get the style description (fake lager) at all. Bit winey. It was ok, but I’m not sure it was very interesting.

Interesting! Not so much shiso but it’s there. Feels maybe more like a fruited sour. But saison elements there too. Very nice.
Melon. And milky. No hint of New England. Fun

Interesting citrus bitterness. Grapefruit! Decent

Roasty coffee, and a bit of sweetness. Never completely get the point of these but they’re always quite nice.
Oooh, pretty good. NE hints. Bit of bitterness, lots of tropical. Nice, but a half is good. Slight alcohol hop burn thing going on.

Nice stuff. Not as nice as I hoped as I’ve used a loop station for years, but it’s still decent. Fruity hoppiness. Bit malty.
I tried to drink at the brewery…but they wouldn’t let me 🤷♂️ Different melon flavor than you get in most stuff in Japan - more like a cantaloupe or a honeydew. Strong bitter finish that grows slightly. Fun to try a milkshake from a rare Japan region!

Tap at Gifu Beer Festival. Clear, bright gold, tall white head. Nose is coffee and honey malts. Slightly nutty, creamy, touch of vanilla. Flavor is the same, nutty coffee, light chocolate, medium bitterness. Did seem like a stout, especially as I drank it in the dark.
