All lemon not much pils. Washing up liquid like. But there’s a little bit of charm to it somehow. But way too much lemon.

Nice stuff. Pilsner base but floral and fruity hoppiness.

On tap at Popeye, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is strange, with a concrete-like peat character, maybe some phenols… ugh. Flavour is similarly strange, with peat, sugary Belgian yeast, and gentle phenols. Sugary, phenolic and peaty. There're some issues here. Not terrible but needs ironing out.

Y Market x Binge Can a Binge IPA 6.5% CBD 37 mg I had no idea this was a CBD (cannabis oil) beer! That explains the price! brassy gold with a thick head of rocky off-white foam. Dank piney aroma with citrus zest and a smooth medium body with round carbonation. The taste is green dankness with balancing citrus sweetness but yeah very much on the bitter side and yet another example of Y Market’s mastery of the IPA style. Good stuff.

Y Market x Fort George Indie Label IPA WEST COAST IPA 7% Opaque light straw gold with foam that clings seductively to the glass. Big fruity tropical aroma with prickly pear notes. Full bodied with a slightly raspy carbonation. The taste adds woodsy notes to the sweet seeming tropical hop bouquet. It’s beers like these that show just how good a well made west coast ipa can be. Great.

Tap at CraftHouse. Dark brown with lace. Big roasty coffee nose with almost no malt or hop coming through until it warmed. flavor too is mostly burnt coffee. Light body. The coffee just overwhelmed everything.

Tap at Komachi. Massive Citra nose, bursting with citrus. Clean malts. Bright, glowing golden color. Flavor is sweet orange and lemonade, big hops, honey malts, touch of lemon candy. A bit too sweet for me, but good hops.
