A small taste from wiosna (tap) @ Tap & Tumbler. Pours clear copper with a huge head. Aroma is sweet malts with caramel. Flavor is sweet malts with caramel and some hops. Tasty.

Tap at KBL. clear deep gold. Spicy, citrus hop nose. Nicely hopped flavor, spices, citrus, Noble. Lightly malty. Crisp, medium body. Nice one.

Y Market Yofukashi Queen Barley wine 12% Lovely orange gold that is topped by light beige foam with a candied fruit and almost sherry like caramel aroma. Very much in the English style. Medium bodied with a thick syrupy mouthfeel, sweet malts and stone fruit flavor but just enough of a herbal bite to balance things out in the finish. An excellent post-onsen beer while admiring the view.

Can from Liquor Mt. Clear gold. Decent hop aroma, citrus, grassy, herbal. Malt is in the background. Flavor also mainly hops, fruitier, more citrus. Malt is clean and slightly sweet. Didn't thrill me, but I would drink it again. Decent American-feeling pils.

I thought this was brewed at Two Rabbits but it’s Y Market! Y Market x Two Rabbits True Blue Aussie Lager 5.5% A brilliantly clear deep gold with thick rocky off-white foam which does not linger. It has a subtly herbal/floral and yet mild fruity hop bouquet. Medium body with a semi-sweet but crisp dry finish. Nice light maltiness while the hops give you lemongrass and mild stone fruit. I’ve gotta say this hits the spot. Great.

After my lager glass broke it took me awhile to find a new one… this Seria Pilsner glass will do! Y Market x Nagoya Castle Hopping Shachi American-style Pilsner 5.5% Very nice looking golden brew with a thick head of foam which leaves copious lacing behind. Nice softly spicy hearbal hop aroma with a honey sweet maltiness underlaying it. The taste has a surprisingly bitter green herbal hoppiness with some dusty sweet malt character and semi-sweet finish on a medium body. Pretty nice stuff.
