Bottle shared at Kingsday Tasting 2019. Water appearance, no head. Smell and taste, you know, I really haven't got a clue how to rate this. Sort of sweetish, some alcohol, rice. Odd but ok. 6-3-6-3-10.

Tap at CBL 2018. Opaque copper gold with a filmy head. Nice mild herbal hop bouquet. Medium dry bodied, crisp and clean. Herbal crackers pale malts with spicy herbal hop nites. A solid beer. 3.6

Some sugar and sweet rice like thai deserts. A hint of booze and caramel. White clear pour. Sweet boozy finish.

Drank warm, one of the recommended temperatures, although not highly recommended. The consistency of the liquid is clear. The olfactory persistence is sufficient. The taste on the nose - dominant aroma finds malted rice Koji. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas responds to white peach, dried apricot and green apple. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of medium strength’s sake. The dryness is light. The body is full. The aroma is delicate. The taste intensity is normal, and the taste persistence is sufficient. On the palate the sweetness is medium, and the body is medium. On the palate the aftertaste is of medium intensity. The final mouth sensations are of drinkable sake. The aroma in the mouth brings hints of vanilla and fruit.

As Konishi Chocolat Premium 4.5% on tap at B&G

A cola black with ruby highlights, a beige head and a chocolate syrup aroma. The body’s quite full while the carbonation is sharp. The taste is chocolate syrup all the way. One dimensional but not too bad.

Sweet & syrupy chocolate sums it up well.

Flasche (Shirayuki Japanese Sake, 75 cl, datiert 2013.03) aus dem Pyongyang Shop. - Blaßgelb mit zartem Grünstich, klar. - Frischer Duft mit mild süßem Reis, milder säuerlicher Schärfe, Heu und ein wenig Alkohol. - Geschmack demgegenüber arg flach mit gekochtem Reis, etwas ruppiger Schärfe und deutlichem Alkohol. Stark fuseliger Abgang. - Zu schroff und alkoholisch, kein echter Genuß.

Konishi Yosano Gold 6%

Made with locally grown (Kyoto) hops, this golden brew has a fruity herbal aroma and a fluffy white head, I even get a touch of bubblegum. The taste is surprisingly dry and the crackery malts are complemented with bubblegum, banana and minty herbal hops similar to spicy Saaz but somewhat more potent. Very fresh and refreshing though I’d down this faster if it was a tad more sessionable. Really good.

On tap at world beer summit nagoya 2016. Cloudy yellow with little white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, honey, mango, a little malt, that i cant specify. Taste is a subtle fresh sourness with lots of fruits in the finish, but not the typical IPA heavy kind of fruityness, everything is very light. Very enjoyable.
