Description
Hi, we’re Van Moll. We’re crazy about beer, which is why we brew it. In 2013 we opened a brew pub in the heart of Eindhoven – our very own flavour lab where everyone can sample our creations. Best idea ever!
We try to delight daily with exciting new tastes and flavours. We experiment and balance, treading the fine line between bold and brazen, without going over the top. A fixed selection of core beers and a varied range of exceptional specials.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, that’s when the adventure really starts. We mix tradition and knowledge with a dash of confidence and cockiness to brew up the perfect party. And that’s exactly what it is: a party for the palate for all who dare.
Grote batches worden gebrouwen bij Lighttown Brewers, waar van Moll deel van uitmaakt.

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Opaque hazy yellow color, medium sized long lasting white head. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly fruity, fruit hops. Taste lightly malts, hops, fruit hops, nicely bitter. Firm carbonation, a bit too much for an APA imo, decent body. Decent beer, but Van Moll’s standards are higher than "decent", so this is ok but they can do a lot better. [Original score: 7-3-7-2-14=3.3] -- Re-rate October 8th 2014. Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy yellow to light orange color, medium to full sized dense thick and lightly creamy white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is hops and fruityness. Taste is very fruity, soft tropical fruit influence, fruit hops, nicely bitter. Fine suitable body and soft suitable carbonation. Way better than my first try of this beer a week ago. Very nice this time!

Botttle at the pre Borefts tasting, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is rich liqourice malt. The flavour is strong bitter with a big alcoholic liqourice floral bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Het Biermoment, dated 28-04-2014, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Hazy dark brown color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, quite fruity as well, slight sweet caramel, hint of raisin, some coffee and chocolate. Medium bitter in taste, mostly from the malts, some sweetness. Very malty, but also quite fruity for a RIS, without having too much yeast esters or too much carbonation. Soft to medium carbonation, medium body. Nice stuff.

Draught @ Dutch Chili Fest, Eindhoven. Opaque black color, nice brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, lightly roasty, cocoa. Taste malts, roasted malts, again clearly cocoa and obviously the peppers are there. They’re quite complementary to the other flavors though. For me this is very hot already, but I can’t stand hot and spicy food. Spice lovers will love this though.
