AMB-01 4% Reddish color with a thin beige foam and slightly spicy (rye?) aroma. Medium to full bodied with a prickly raspy carbonation. Not as aggressive as the others but these all make me feel gassy. Malty and peppery but with an almost perfumey floral hop flavor. Alright but my least favorite of the three. I’d say these guys are promising but should dial in the carbonation as it seems heavy handed to me. Good satisfying stuff.

DNK-01 4.5% Purple reddish brown with raisins and plums in the aroma but chocolate in the taste. Same aggressive raspy carbonation that’s a bit too full on for me but this tastes like sweet raisin pudding with a dusting of chocolate. Again, solid.

WKL-01 wheat Kolsch 4.5% Nice straw gold with a tangy malt and herbaceous aroma. Medium to light bodied, it’s chewy malts up front, raspy carbonation and dry in the finish. Surprisingly solid.

One’s Brewery Brut Kolsch 3.8% Gold with a herbal hop bouquet. Light golden body and crisp flavor. Surprisingly good.

Tap at Craft Beer Live 2019. Said to be a Kolsch / Alt combination! Amber ornage color, slightly hazy. Caramel malt and light grassy hops in the nose. Amber malts, caramel, lightly hopped. Definitely more like an alt but very mild. Weird.

Draft at One’s Brewing, Osaka. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of massive yeast, herbs, cardboard and dough. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at One’s Brewpub, Osaka. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is big malt, dough, biscuit yeast, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, crisp, malt, slightly watery, light fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the brewpub. Pretty, deep orange-gold, clear, with a medium head. Malty, bready nose, crackers, citrus, lightly fruity esters. Rich and malty flavor, bready, not too sweet, spicy hops. Solid balanced bitterness. Slightly too estery and fruity for the style, and a bit heavy too, but it tastes quite nice. Dry finish. Got just a little but husky as it warmed.
