No idea if this is anew version, or just out of retirement. Listed at Nihonbashi as Yabai IPA (from Ushi Tora). Pours a clear amber yellow color with a medium white head. A nice sweet toast nose. Citrus, some sweeter tropical notes, a bit of light mango. Very nice.

Tap @ Beer Boy, Nakameguro. Almost clear creamy orange pour with some persistent white foam on the top. Nose has good citrus character, orange peels mixing with brut IPA spicy yeast. Tastes light, medium bitterness, bursting with citrus freshness. Dry body and some Brut spices there. Quite tasty overall, refreshing summer hop fix.

Tap at Bungalow. Deep orange color, clear. Low head. Very piny nose, grapefruit, resin, low malt. More tropical fruit in the mouth, still resiny, light sweetness with a nice prickly finish. Fruity flavor is a nice surprise.

Draft at Craft Beer GULP, Osaka. Hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, light fruits and light yeast. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Cask at Kamikaze, Osaka 7th Anniversary. Hazy orange brown with barely any head. Aroma of malt, caramel and toffee. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light bodied with barely any carbonation.

Tap at Craft Beer Gulp, Osaka. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, mineral, light fruit, floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Cask hand pulled at Craft Beer Bar, Kamikaze, Kyoto. Poured a hazy amber colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a malt, light sweet fruits, light toffee, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Served at just the right temperature and a fairly accurate representation of the style.
