Tap at Lucua. Very cloudy golden color with a fine head. Nose is yuzu, wheat, grass, leaves. Sweet with grainy biscuits, yuzu. Low carbonation. Finish is a bit rough but nice enough overall.

Outsider Coco American IPA 6% Copper gold verging on amber with a thick head. This coconut ipa starts with a fruity hop bouquet that’s on the tropical side and then gives you coconut flakes in the aroma as well with whiffs of bitterness. It smells delicious. Medium bodied and a bit slick/oily in texture but also velvety smooth. The taste is earthy hairy coconut shell then sweet malts and fruity hops. Tasty and refreshing, it finishes quite bitter. On tap at Kyoto beer fest. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is big grain notes witb some light grassy tones. Taste is more of the nice heavy malts and some spice.

Tap at CBM Umeda. Shiny black, thick tan head. Nose of coffee, vanilla, chocolate, treacle. Very tasty vanilla and coffee and chocolate, caramel, roast. Big flavors of 6%, rather sweet but a nice bitter finish with some burnt wood. Rich and full but finishes crisp. convincing.

extraordinary turbid. Like soup, light white amber color. Clean fresh nose with good yuzu character. Light body, low bitterness, almost like yuzu juice, but not quiet as juicy as I might hope. Finishes with slightly grainy finish. Not bad

Pink purple color. Nice clean fresh berry nose with muscat playing in the background. Modestly perfumy and dry. Fairly dry, good carbonation, nice berry character but a bit retrained. Too dry, with modest tannins, that holds back the cider’s potential. Fairly drinkable and nice berry finish. Enjoyable but nothing that special

Tap at Takumiya. Nose is vanilla, lemon, malt, bit of caramel, Sorachi. Dirty brown. Flavor is big on Sorachi, vanilla, biscuity malt. Decent.
