On tap at Popeyes. Pours a pitch black hue with almost no head. A big malty nose, rich molasses. Very smooth, roast, some licorice, heavy dark fruit. Very good.

Tap @ iBREW Shinbashi. Pours dark brown, some lighter brown foam on the top. Nose is soft, nuts and toffee, milk chocolate. More chocolate in the taste, rich and decadent - with a generous amount of coconut stirred in. Wow, that really works, might be one of the best coconut beers I have tried. Bitter and light roast in the linger. Really good.

Draft at Len, Kyoto. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Len Kyoto hostel bar. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, yeasty, light citrus, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a big yeasty, light fruity, big dry floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Deep brown/black with a tan head. Soft cacao roasty aroma. Medium bodied, somewhat fuller and less raspy than the Butches Revenge with a smooth oats and chewiness to it. That character was the only thing missing from yesterday’s Beer Lab Obsidian. Lovely soft cacao with a bit of bitter chocolate paste in the finish. Nice stuff. Ap 4 Ar 8 t 7 p 4 o 13

On tap pours out crisp amber topped with a sand head. Nose is grassy perfume hops and some sweet caramel malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel malts and a grassy perfume floral hop.

Tap at Rabbit Hutch. Clear amber-orange with a thick head. Spicy, citrusy hops, bready malt nose. Spicy, quite English with some tropical fruit notes from teh Galaxy. Nicely spicy yeast.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2019. Cloudy black. Creamy, chocolate, big, herbal, spicy, rich. Some miso and chocolate. Really love and rich body. Tasty stuff.
