Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to Fergus. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of lemon, pale bread, faint herbal hop, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more citric accents, crusty pale malts. Novel.

Bottle thanks to Fergus. Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Pear and baked apple fruits. A light finish. Nice orchard fruit brew.

I picked this up and the AJB Icy Lager at KBL The Garage. KBL The Garage Lager 5% Now that their brewery is up and running, I tried a beer on tap and got this one to go. It’s a beautifully clear brass color with thick foam that left no lacing behind. It’s got a bready aroma with a soft spicy herbal hop aroma. Medium to light bodied with a scratchy round carbonation. This is a clean crisp well balanced lager.

Tap at the Garage. Clear, bright golden with a medium, fine head. Big citrus aroma, bready malt. Flavor is lemon and orange, bready malt, with a bit of stinging booze. Somewhat rounded body from the extra alcohol. well done and not too over the top. I generally don't like the style much, but this was nice.
