Tap at Cfrat House. Lemony hop nose, grapefruit, guava, spicy rye notes. Cloudy gold with orange tints. Huge citrus and tropical fruit flavor, spicy rye is not huge but complements nicely. Pineapple and orange. Smooth, creamy, full-bodied. Prickly, peppery, somewhat bitter finish. A NE IIPA juiced up with rye! I like it. Got a little goopy and heavy as it warmed, but very enjoyable.

Tap @ Beer Boy, Nakameguro. Pours pink and hazy and white. Kind of looks like unfiltered pink grapefruit juice, just pressed and still hazy with pulp. Vanilla on the nose, some lacto and wheaty tartness also. Bit stuffy. Taste has more vanilla, berries and lots of tartness. Bitterness is medium level but not very balanced, so mouthfeel is not as great as it could be. Still a good sample of a style, especially for a a beer from Japan.

Tap at Komachi. Deep oarange-gold with a fine head. Nose is orange juice and wheat biscuits. Sweet and supremely juicy, seems like orange juice was added, with wheat biscuit, touch of caramel and pine. Nice, but I suspect fruit added. Really just a bit too juicy.

Tap at Taigu. Be easy Arene IPA 7.2% Milky orange juice in looks with a juicy yeasty citrus aroma. Medium to full bodied with a good dose of pithy citrus juice up front then woodsy lightly bitter flavors in the finish.
