Tap at Komachi. Black with a pretty, low head. Nose is apple, cinnamon, chocolate. A bit on the fake side but still nice. Flavor is just thin, sweet, spicy, and fake. Wow, I really don't like this. It's thin and sweet, candy-like, apple seems like extract (it probably isn't but seems like it). Just tastes fake.

very strange Chinese pear and apple character. Low bitterness. Sweeter than expected. Meh.

deep purple color with light pink head. Massive orange and cassis nose but waaaaayyy to sweet. Very carbonated light, slightly tart, almost like a cocktail. If there is no artificial flavors, I am somewhat impressed. I thought it would be way more sweet and cloying but it’s actually not too bad. A touch of lactic character. Pretty damn drinkable actually. I gotta say I can groove on this. But the orange is a bit too much.

deep golden color. Very dry. Pretty much non-existing nose but some faint weird hop notes. The mouth shows a lot more character, but really odd and i read the review below and yeah strawberry jam with some orange marmalade. Very low bitterness. Medium full body with almost a champagne like yeastiness. Not sure what to make of this. Certainly doesn’t blow me away, but don’t mind it. The more I drink the more I like it.

Be Easy Kibi ii IPA According to the menu at Molto this is a 7.5% Brut IPA with infinite IBUs, it’s made with German hops as well. I ordered this as I’m still trying to figure out this new style, Molto also has an Outsoder one on tap but the staff said this one was more popular last night. It has a great sweet fruity bouquet that for some reason evokes strawberry jam for me, this must be made with one of those new German hop varietals. Pretty full bodied but very dry and while it starts of slick and sweet it ends with crackery malts, some earthiness and that strawberry like fruit thing. Probably one of the nicest Brut IPAs I’ve had and it was so good I was able to down it fast which is just as well as I was in a hurry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Komachi. Dry and crisp, some honey and stone fruit in the nose and flavor. Dry and light in the brut manner, but a bit too stinky in the fruitiness. A bit like a cheap champagne. Not bad, but I am already sick of this style.

Be easy Akemodiru Keyagu Brut IPA 8% Opaque rich golden color with lots of fruity grainy malt richness in the aroma. The body has a medium texture and drynfinidh while the taste is grainy malt forward. I’ve gotta say I preferred the Far Yeast Brut IPA Collab though this is ok. The earthy dry herbal green spicy finish is interesting but I’ve still yet to be wowed by this style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at KBC. This collaboration brew is a hazy green-gold with an aroma of spot on sweet matcha tea. Medium bodied, the taste is the same the initial impression is on the sweet side but then it balances out. I don’t see the IPA part of this but if you’re aiming to make a beer taste like iced matcha this nails it.

Tap at KBC. Ugly pond water pale green from the tea. Cloudy too. Nose is matcha, nice and creamy with a bit of citrus and biscuit. Creamy and lightly sweet but not overboard, lactose matcha, lemon, light vanilla notes. Very nice tea flavors and a slightly hoppy finish. I enjoyed this, though it really isn't beer to me.
