Zakuro Sour IPA from Be Easy Brewing

Pours golden, quite clear and with some white foam on the top. Some lacings, they clean glasses well here. Nose has a bit of malty notes, something tart, relatively light, cherries. Cherries are strong in taste, clean lightly spritzy cherry sour. Malty as well basically. Quite OK, not the greatest balance but refreshing and drinks OK. 6.3.7.3.14

cloudy purple color. Fairly linear dry sour nose with lots of blueberry. The mouth feel is nice, dry but with this wax coating on the tounge. Big blueberry notes. Very nice

Draft at Beer Komachi, Kyoto. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, light herbs and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Beer Komachi, Kyoto. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, Belgian yeast, light citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, fresh, smooth, yeasty, light fruit, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very Saison like. Probably used Saison yeast. Very sessionable.

Tap at Bungalow. Nose is citrus and grains, clearly lager yeast. Sweet citrus flavor, light sulfur, a bit syrupy on the malt side but not bad. Not really as crisp as I would like it.

Draft at Ol by Oslo Brewing, Tokyo. Hazy red with a small pink head. Aroma of blueberry, vanilla and lactose. Flavour is moderate sweet and light sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
