Two Rabbits Salty Lemon Sour 5% Malty gold with thick fast dissipating foam and a mineral salty aroma with elements of bready pale malts and earthy lemon. Medium bodied and smooth the taste is a slightly acidic tart lemon with floral hop notes. Nice on a sunny hot day like today.

Can from Isetan. Two Rabbits x KyotoBeer Lab Pineapple Kiss Sour IPA 6% Very pale gold with round fizzy white foam that doesn’t linger. Mildly sour/tart aroma with very subtle sweet pineapple notes. The taste is quite tart with a bit of a floral herbal element to it. I don’t get much pineapple from this and I was really expecting loads of sweet flavorful pineapple. Medium bodied and tart but the sourness is a bit in the baby sick vein so not really for me.

Can from Isetan. Bright herbal hops, crisp malt, lemon, orange in the nose. big and fruity hop flavor, crisp, herbal, very nicely done. Crackery malt. Hits the spot. Finish maybe just a touch too bitter.

Two Rabbits Pilsner Italiana 5.5% Crystal clear light gold with light white foam that doesn’t linger. At first the aroma had some rough earthy edges to it but within minutes it was a lovely soft herbal hoppiness with some sweet purple bubblegum elements. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and crisp finish. The taste is sweet fruits and biting herbal hops. Really enjoyable stuff.

Can. Salmon pink pour. Nose of cherry, lemon, lactic acid creaminess. Crisp and tart, nice cherry, not too much, refreshing and tasty, low sweetness. Good as expected.

Two Rabbits Chocolate & Strawberry Sour 5.5% After the pinkish gold sours I had earlier this cola brown pour was a pleasant surprise as a golden chocolate beer would feel weird to me. Tart sweet strawberries dipped in chocolate in the aroma. Full bodied with a raspy carbonation. Tart up front then strawberries with cacao paste chocolate notes in the finish. I paired it with some dark chocolate covered biscuits and man was it good bringing out a sharp tart strawberry syrup flavor that was really bright and vibrant. I’ve been really impressed by this series. All three were great beers. Crushable (Cherry), complex (strawberry) and great for pairing/dessert (chocolate strawberry). On its own 3.8 in a pairing 4.0
