American Aroma Pils from Nihonkai Club - Oku Noto Beer

Tap at CBM Koenji. Aroma is very nice, wheaty, flour, some grassy hops. Taste is more hoppy, nice bitterness, quite dry and crisp. Very easy drinking. Little bit of fruitiness. Real quencher.

Lemon Pils from Nihonkai Club - Oku Noto Beer

Craft Beer Kanazawa. Lemon is quite sharp, but it works pretty well. End of the keg so don't want to judge too much, but I liked it.

Nelson Wheat Lager from Nihonkai Club - Oku Noto Beer

Craft Beer Kanazawa. Soft, easy drinking, light tropical fruitiness, bit creamy. Very nice and easy going. Wheat is lingering in the background. Good stuff

Craft Beer Kanazwa. Mint is quite nice, maybe spearmint I think. Like those special polos. Light wheatiness there too. Surprisingly nice.

Tap at Craft Beer Kanazawa. Nice. Lots of creamy weirdness but nice soft malty and wheaty base. Refreshing, crisp but little sweetness. Nice.

Tap at JBC. Dry and crisp. Grainy lots of wheat, touch of cream. Great starter beer. Second time, 6 months later. Creamy, initial grassy hops, wheaty. Great. Ultra drinkable, refreshing, tingly.

Tap at CBM Jinbocho. Aroma is initially cigarette smoke! Resin hops. Bit of sweetness. Taste is really good, malty, dry, bit sticky, golden syrup. Very nice. Black treacle. Damn shame it ran out. Have to have this again.

Tap at new CBM. Very creamy, lots of grain in the nose, banana and cream. Light fruitiness, cherry maybe, great stuff. Really smooth. They seem to be getting better and better.

Tap at Server Land. Lots of hops, big bitterness, citrus, and resin, grapefruit. Not so much maltiness, but asserts itself a bit more further down with a bit of sweetness. Good stuff though. Second time really got the maltiness, more points. Rerate in Dec 2014 at CBM Koenji. Wow. Cocoa powder, spice, citrus hops. Bloody hell, tasted great.

Imperial Stout from Nihonkai Club - Oku Noto Beer

Tap at Faucets. Nice enough, but a little disappointing considering how nice their lagers are at the moment. Roasty, booze well hidden, little bit of smooth sweetness. Rerate, Nov 2016: Light marker pen aroma, caramel. Taste has something interesting, light smoke and meat, roast, bit sweet, nice chocolate and richness. But easy drinking.
