We started Carbon Brews in 2018. Since day one, we have been an employee’s-driven brewery that continues to push the boundaries with our innovative beers. Our goal is to use our creative brews to bring excitement to the Hong Kong beer drinkers which they can share with their friends. Our brewery is located in the city’s industrial area Fo Tan (“Tan” is the Cantonese character for “carbon”!) where all of our employees collaboratively develop and brew ground breaking recipes with our 30HL brewhouse.

330ml can at Taste of Love, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin, broken white head. The aroma is yeast, pineapple citrus. The flavour is moderate sour, light sweet, with a light, crisp, fresh, tart pineapple, light floral, light sweet vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Big bottle from Owlsome on Christmas 2023 with family. Dark opaque brown pour with bubbly tan head. Aroma is chili and a little chocolate. Taste is heavy on the pepper, with some chocolate and not much wood. Palate is slightly chalky and surprisingly light, not my favorite. Overall not bad, but I think Young Master’s BA chili stout is better.
