Description
Being a Dandy means falling hard into your internal fascinations, desires, and interests. Whatever they may be. Dandies ignore trends and styles and walk their own path. Every one of us has the chance to be a Dandy, most of us already are without knowing it, and we’re here to celebrate that.

The Dandy Brewing Company is Calgary's original little brewery that embraces being a Dandy whatever that looks like. We produce inspired beers, styles we have fallen in love with, in small batches with lots of care.

Our unique approach to brewing and a keen eye for detail fosters creativity in both our recipes and beer styles.

On-site, we are pleased to offer a unique brewery experience featuring a full-service tasting room restaurant with an exquisite menu of fine drinking food, a curated selection of cocktails, glass pours of selected wines, and a wide selection of Dandy beers brewed on-site.

We share a passion for not only brewing, but the people, processes, and experiences that make the experience so special.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Aroma of bready wheat malt, pineapple, orange and earthy yeast. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, pineapple, tangerine, orange peel and black pepper in a crisp, dry, tangy finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink. A good patio beer.

Can. Gold - clear until the last little bit (one of the few problems with cans) - with a white head that doesn't last that well. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemons on the turn, some boot polish, white wine. 7+ Some fruity sweetness as ell as moderate sourness. No particular finish. Refreshing, tangy and vinous. Perhaps a little strong for what it offers but a solid drinker.

Really nice white pink foam on a reddish copper clear body, smells strongly of sugary raspberry with a hint of sharp hops. Flavour is muddled raspberry and a bit of malt. Mouthfeel is really bad with heavy tin, wateriness, awkward aftertaste. They had me in the first half, not gonna lie, but there's work to be done here.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber-copper with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of grainy pale malt, plum, prune and earthy yeast. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, overripe plum, earthy yeast and floral hops in a dry, tart, light acidic finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad. Easy to drink, but I doubt Tom Jones or Prince are dying to get their hands on this.

355ml can. (2019 vintage) Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, earth, coffee and a hint of licorice. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, licorice, dark chocolate, molasses, earth, prune and coffee in a dry, mild bitter, light metallic finish. Medium to full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty solid, but the light metallic note distracts just enough to keep this beer from being great. Dangerously easy to drink.

way too clean for a Saison. Not Farmhouse at all. Not bad, but amateur hour from breweries I would expect more.
