Tap at Alamat, Makati. Poured a hazy opaque light, green, bitter lemon colour with little life. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, lemon citrus, warm boozy alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

4/10/2018. Bottle from Drinkka, Makati. Ph. Pours hazy orange gold with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, pine, citrus, hops, tropical fruits and malt biscuits. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness with slightest hint of sour. Medium body, sticky texture, bit above average carbonation to begin with but soon calming down. Decent brew.

Bottle from Smoky Bastard, Makati City. Poured a murky medium amber with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, dry mineral, cardboard, light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a dry malt, fresh, fruity citrus, weedy resin hop, light medicinal palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A decent beer that improved as it warmed and got some air, but I expected better given the price I paid.

Tap at The Bottle Shop by Global Beer Exchange, Makati. Poured a murky medium brown with a long-lasting thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, light citrus, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry malt, yeast, slightly acidic, lavender floral dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty awful. This cost 400 Pesos and was one of the worst Filipino beers I ever tasted. It was like home brew gone wrong. Gives Craft a bad name.

25/3/2018. Bottle from Drinkka, Philippines. Pours hazy golden amber with a big and long lasting frothy just off-white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, caramel, bread, yeast, grass, flowers and a little soap. Quite light sweetness, and despite the bottle blurb, medium towards heavy bitterness. Moderate body. And a carbonation level unlike any beer I've had before, each sip literally explodes in the mouth into a mouthful of foam - quite bizarre. That aside, it's not a bad beer, but it's not as enjoyable to drink like that. So the beer was set aside for a couple of hours after which the extreme carbonation had largely subsided, which certainly made it much better. A beer that's work in progress.
