Bottle on 5th June 2023, received as a gift. Pours thickly hazy orange with quickly diminishing yellowy white foam and spot lacing. Citrus peel and tropical fruitiness in aroma. Tangy fruits in-mouth with spiciness. A lengthy finish of fruity spiciness. Zingy mouthfeel and plenty of body. Full of flavour.

On tap at Nipa in Manila, pours a clear orange with a ring of white head. Nose doesn't have a ton, there's orange and patchouli, some tea. Flavor has more, orange and grass, tannic and soap, some candy sweetness too. Finishes medium bodied, oily. 6 2 7 3 12

golden amber color with frothy white head. Good minty tropical fruit notes but again this slightly off putting rotting fruit notes on the palate. Medium bitterness and low carbonation. A bit lacking in umph. Not bad

dark brown color. Light brown head. Sweet off putting nose of strange molasses and chocolate. No chili’s are noticeable. The mouth is better than expected and chili’s jump out with some sweet fudge notes in the background. The fudge and chilies continue to the end. The sweetness of the beer somehow balanced by over the top use of chili. On the one hand it’s a bit of a mess, On the other hand things some how just work out alright.

6/4/2018. Bottle from Drinkka, Manila. Pours very slightly hazy golden amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit, hops, banana and pine, with a very light spiced/herbal edge. Light sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture and slightly above average carbonation. Lasting bitterness to finish, quite dry, with some peach coming through. One of the best Philippine beers I've had so far.

Tap at the Nipa Brew Taproom, Makati. Poured a murky medium brown with little life. The aroma is gluey malt, sticky toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich, toffee caramel sweet malt palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. Needs more work I’m afraid.
