Golden color, medium-sized white head. The aroma is quite neutral, with just a hint of grainy roughness, gooseberry bush and malt. Light-bodied with crisp carbonation. Mild fruitiness, gooseberry bush and lemon in the taste, staying quite neutral in typical Kölsch fashion. Gooseberry gives some personality.

Can picked up from Craftbeershop Parchim Germany consumed at home Saturday 22nd August 2026 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music, we had a Fish Pie for tea that Loz made, we also made two huge Zwetschgenzopf and a large Zwetschgenkuchen with plums from the garden. Pours shark eye black with a mid sized light tan head. The aroma is mostly roasted malts, bitter chocolate and perhaps I am picking up a lingering faint scent of cherry juice. These aromas follow through into the mouth, the cherry is a little more pronounced here but I still wish it would have been a bit more assertive. It's smooth, very easy drinking chocolate dominant. Good but doesn't totally wow me. Score: 7.3

Citrusy hoppy nose, some stone fruity notes. Piney hops, clean and inviting . Finishes bitter. Fresh, clean and nice WC IPA.
