Opaque colour, small brownish head. Aroma is milky coconut, roasted malts and vanilla. Full-bodied. Cocoa, roasted malts, coconut, vanilla, whisky and alcohol in the flavour. Quite robust and malty. A bit too much coconut for my liking.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and mint(?). Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, herbal notes, very faint peppery notes. Not bad.

Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness but also a touch of milky sweetness. Hops bring cooling pine into juicy citrus and stone fruits. New kid on the block, HQG-1, not that easy to assess when mixed in with the other 2 hops but, defo some bright and sweetish mandarin and tangerine going on along with a flash of pink grapefruit. Smooth finish. Nice juicy dipa and the new hop does seem to bring something different. Just needs the milky sweetness dialled down a notch.

Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2026-05 getrunken. Dieses Sour Ale kommt mit einer recht verhaltenen Säure daher. Was aber so richtig spannend ist, dass neben dem rote Beeren Aroma ein Aroma von weißer Schokolade zu kommt.
