330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with small, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, herbal and cautiously tropical fruity hoppy overtones. Taste is dry, roasty, chocolately dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, a chalky touch of ashes, subtle, earthy, treacle-like sweetness, a touch of liquorice. Beefy.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, light pine, soapy, taste is dry, bitter, chocolate, toffee, biscuit.

Schenkt zwart met enorme bruine kraag. Aroma van vanille, suiker, koffie, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, erg veel chocolade, cacao, heerlijk. Smaken zijn wat droppig, lichte laurier, dunne gladde zachte smaken, erg veel chocolade, niet overdreven veel koffie, matig tot redelijk zoet, smooth, prima gebalanceerd, maar had van mij wel wat dikker qua textuur gemigen, desondanks gewoon prima smaken, matige body, zachte co2, prima --- Beer merged from original tick of Ööbik on 23 May 2018 at 14:14 - Score: 7

Bottle at home, 24th April 16. Dark amber, aroma is pine, some citrus and some sweetness. Taste is sweet and bitter, citrus peel, pine. Bottle is getting close to BB (end May 16), still tastes good, imagine it would be much better fresh. Drinks below the ABV. Not bad

330 ml bottle at home thanks to VamboladeTolly! Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, dark fruits, chocolate, some hoppy perfume notes. Sweet and bitter like aroma, milk chocolate, fruity. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

330 ml botle at home thanks to VamboladeTolly! Clear dark copper to brown color with beige head. Hoppy and malty aroma, pine, spicy, herbal, grassy. Sweet and bitter like aroma with more malty notes, caramel, bread, light fruity. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Tap at TCBW. Pours black with brownish head. Aroma is roast, malt, sweetness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, citrus, grapefruit. Overall: nice, very drinkable for the ABV.

Tap at TCBW. Pours pink red with beige head. Aroma is sour, berries, popcorn. Flavor is sour, lacto, berries. Finish is sour. Overall: didn’t get any brett or peach or dryness or basically any stuff that makes proper saison good. Felt like just another lacto nonsense, maybe it’s just too young? Whatever it is, I didn’t enjoy it.
