A very smooth, easy drinking but not boring red IPA. Aroma is full of toffee, malted milk, biscuit, smoked chicory, some stone fruit and grapefruit. There's a lemony finish, and the only real drawback is a slightly thin palate. The smokiness is a poignant reminder of what this beer represents.

Can. Should have entered this one in the GABS can design award - it's sad and lovely as well as recognizably being a Sailors Grave beer. Amber with an inch of beige head. Aroma of toffee, mango skin, kumquats. Malty initially with fat clean toffee notes and maybe some prunes given a while before toppier citrus notes then bitter and peppery flavours take over. The hoppy amber is not my favourite sort of thing but this one is nicely put together and avoids the interference between malt and hop that you can get with them.

Can boy. More amber than gold. Head is not a mega mega white thing - soon less than a a coat. Aroma is earthy, floral and grainy with a little breadcrust. Carbonation is low. Grainy and fairly dry with a spicy bitter finish. Is there some rye here? Somewhat iffy aroma but drinks itself.

Can. An amber beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, bread, and mlat. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

Can. Just cloudy amber with a loose white head. Alive aroma with old lemons, plum, boot polish, twigs. Light bodied. Really quite sour with a lemon and underripe plum bite but then juicier plum emerges. Cleansing balance.

Can. Pale red with a just pink head. Aroma of sweet and tart berries, some twangy wheat. Light bodied, quite fizzy. Lots of fruit, little sweetness, moderately sour. There's just the tiniest hint of cream right at the end (which is good). Straightforward, refreshing.

Can. Amber with a modest near white head. Aroma of biscuit, blackcurrant, light earthy spices. Malty but not very sweet with biscuit and a pretty dry earthily spicy finish. Lowish bitterness. Solid quaffer that's less adventurous than most of their offerings but is still a little unusual.

SUPER carbonated.

Fairly saline. Intense sour saltiness with some what iodine. Very interesting. Like it a lot

Can. Cloudy gold wit a cm of white head. Funky aroma with lemony herbs, brine. Minerally beyond salt - not a welcoming texture. Quite sour with salt and herbal notes. Didn't really work for me.
