Can. Hazy orange with a fading white head. Funky herbal lemony aroma with some berry bubblegum and chalk. Spritzy and minerally. Tangy wheat cracker-like with old lemon and some odd herbal notes towards the dry, slightly bitter finish. Too fizzy and the end is a bit harsh but it (not surprisingly) works better with food.

Tap at Lincoln Hotel, Carlton. Deep black with finely beaded, quickly dissipating white head. Almost soy sauce nose. Not oily, with a little fizz on tongue. Getting some umami plus that lovely whiskey waft pushing through. Very nice boost to this already intriguing stout.

Can. Clear reddish brown with a large white head that fades but never disappears. Aroma of grapefruit brûlée - very 70s. Moderately sweet, moderately sour, a modest woody bitterness. After a while you can pick up coconut right at the end. Far from their most interesting beer but OK.

Red/orange. No head. Grapefruit nose. Pretty standard kettle sour, with blood orange predominant. No hint of promised hops. Does mimic an aperitif, bit not a great one.
