Can. Clear dark red brown with a small but dense pale beige head. Aroma of citrus, toffee, pine, bread, some stewed fruit. Sweet with bread, toffee and orchard fruit first before first citrus then piney bitterness takes over. Nicely balanced.

Press black with a rapidly disposing off-white head.
Nose shows heavy roast, chocolate, liquorice, toasty malt, cocoa, tonka and molasses.
Flavours include more heavy roasted malt, a big whack of molasses and accompanying rich sweetness. A bit of liquorice shows through but the molasses threatens to dominate.

Can. Clear amber, modest white head. Aroma of husky bread, weeds. So it tastes - pretty empty with snappy weedy bitterness. Refreshing.

Can. Clear amber, a cm of white head. Shyish but intriguing aroma of sweet and even some juniper berries with gentle kumquat and crackery bread. Sweet with those berries and pepper before too modest bitterness. Nice enough but a bit tentative.

Can. Very dark brown with a cm+ of light tan head that lasts OK. Aroma of coffee, roast, dark sugars, light spices. Medium bodied, creamy texture @ ~11C. Has some sweetness - chocolate, stewed peach, singed dark sugars- but it's just enough to tame firm roasted bitterness. Not overcomplicated, good balance. Typically solid & true to style.

Can. Clear gold, a cm of white head. Aroma of kumquat, mango, white grapes, crackers, some pine. Sweet with light bread with booze that peeks out slightly. First tropical fruit then citrus, then pine, grass and ?sage at the fairly bitter end. Perhaps doesn't do quite enough to justify its strength but good.

Can. Amber with a good cm of white head. 3+ Floaty citrus and melon aroma with pine peeking out from breadcrust. Sweet but light with citrus, some peach and melon, gently gripping resin and bitterness. Lovely. Their best IPA since The Investor?
